Aquafuel is dedicated to enabling and enhancing clean
combustion. The company has patented technology platforms for Renewable
CHP (combined heat and power), heavy fuel oil and coal combustion.
Aquafuel's patented technology uses a wide range of
renewable industrial byproducts to fuel off-the-shelf diesel engine
generators. These are configured as modular CHP plants in the 1-10
MW range, providing power and process steam or hot water. These can
be integrated into the plants that produce the byproduct; this means
production is energy self sufficient and excess power can be sold
to the grid. Overall profitability is much higher than sale or disposal
of byproduct. Plants can also provide standalone CHP for commercial
or residential property developments.
WID compliant CHP for abbatoirs, rendering
and meat processing plants. For example, an abattoir generating ~
5 tonnes of tallow per day can use this to fuel 1 MW of electricity
in an integrated CHP plant and 26 tonnes per hour of hot water at
90C. This means production is energy self sufficient and excess power
can be sold to the grid.
